Recently, the Montessori at Frankfort hosted the Melikin Puppet Theater, National Touring Company, with their production of “Slightly Fractured Fairy Tales”
For years generations of children have heard the old familiar fairy tales told time and time again and always with the same response, “Tell it again!” The Melikin puppets have compiled a series of familiar fable favorites, and as you might expect, each storeyette has a surprising ending twist providing a refreshing relief from the everyday “Once upon a time”. Their current presentation is a trilogy of stories including, Chicken Little, Goldilocks? and the Three Bears and the Beatrix Potter story of, The Tale of Two Bad Mice.

Montessori of Frankfort was founded in August of 2000 by Montessori trained teachers and sisters, Mari-Ann Unger and Linda Mora. The academic preschool and kindergarten is for children ages 3-6 and is a member of the American Montessori Society. Teachers are CPR and first aid certified as well.
