Motorcyclist Hurt In Crash On Route 30 In Frankfort

A man was injured in a crash on Route 30 near 108th Avenue in Frankfort Wednesday morning.

FRANKFORT, IL -- A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday morning when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a vehicle in Frankfort, a police official said. Frankfort Police Chief John Burica called the crash on Route 30 near 108th Avenue a "pretty serious accident." First responders arrived around 6 a.m. and found that the motorcycle had made contact with a car.

The driver of the motorcycle was conscious and breathing when he was taken from the scene to Silver Cross Hospital, Burica said. His age was not immediately available.

There were no known injuries to anyone in the vehicle.
