Trail Users Cautioned As Mowing Begins Along Old Plank Road Trail
Users should exercise caution and pay attention to trail closure signs that will be posted in areas where the mower is cutting.
FRANKFORT, IL — Path users on the Old Plank Road Trail should use caution over the next few weeks as the Forest Preserve District of Will County's boom mower does work on the trail.
The preserve said the powerful mower trims shrubbery from the sides of the trail. Users should exercise caution and pay attention to trail closure signs that will be posted in areas where the mower is cutting.
If you come upon these signs, turn around. Do not attempt to pass the boom mower, the preserve said.
