National Night Out, Rib Cook-Off Canceled In Frankfort
Mayor Jim Holland provided an update on several village events in August which have been canceled.

FRANKFORT, IL — Many events and programs have been canceled over the past few months due to the coronavirus. In Frankfort, events like Concerts on the Green and Cruisin' Frankfort have been canceled or postponed, while some events like the Country Market have continued in a modified format.
"We continue, sadly, to have to cancel some of our events," Mayor Jim Holland said at the July 20 village board meeting.

- Amateur Rib Cook-Off planned for Aug. 1 — canceled
- National Night Out Against Crime planned for Aug. 4 — canceled
The Frankfort Chamber of Commerce has also canceled its annual Fall Festival, which is usually held over Labor Day weekend.
The village continues to hold a modified version of its Country Market every Sunday through October in downtown Frankfort.
