New Board of Education seated in District 157-C
Also said goodbye to three members retiring from the Board
Following the election of April 7, a Special Board of Education meeting was held by the Frankfort School District 157-C Board of Education on April 29.
On behalf of the members of the Board of Education, Board Secretary Edie Adamski acknowledged Christopher McFadden (2011-2015 one term); Patrick Usher (2007-2015 two terms); and Mike Turner (2011-2015 one term) for their service as members of the Board of Education. Mrs. Adamski stated, “They have served faithfully and well as Board members, have elevated the professionalism of staff, administrators and the Board and have unfalteringly given voice to their convictions as they thought they best served the interests of the school they represented. The spirit of friendship and cooperation which characterized them as Board Members will be greatly missed.” The Board adopted the Resolution of Appreciation for Christopher McFadden, Patrick Usher and Mike Turner as presented.
The Board accepted the canvass of the Will County Clerk in the form delivered to the Board of Education and the canvassing results will be reflected in the minutes of the meeting. The election results from the Will County Clerk’s Office are: Damien Aherne 372, Edie Adamski 588, Edith Lutz 520, Brian Skibinski 425, Kevin Regas 453 and Tom Reidy 599.

Outgoing Board President Christopher McFadden administered the Oath of Office to the Board members elected on April 7, 2015: Edie Adamski, Edith Lutz, Kevin Regas and Tom Reidy. These Board members will each serve a four-year term. Board members Gina Briese, Cari Ann Mills and Dr. Brian Sasso will continue in their positions on the Board for their remaining two-year terms. Board member Gina Briese was elected as Board President, Cari Ann Mills was elected as Board Vice President and Edie Adamski was elected as Board Secretary.
