New Lenox Man's Insurance Billed For Some Other Guy's Healthcare

An apparently ailing identity thief used a New Lenox man's medical insurance to cover the cost of his healthcare.

An officer was sent to the 100 block of Towncrest Drive shortly after 6 p.m. Monday to meet with a man who told him an "unknown person used his personal information to receive medical treatment and was billed to Blue Cross Blue Shield," police said.

The matter was sent to the police department's investigations division.
