New Lenox Police Investigate Credit Card Capers

The New Lenox police learned of two recent cases of credit card fraud.

One victimized resident met with an officer at the police station Monday afternoon.The woman told the officer "an unknown person used her credit card to make an unauthorized transaction for approximately $1,500," police said.

Another resident went to the station Thursday. The man told an officer that "an unknown person used his credit card to make an unauthorized transaction for approximately $350," police said.

Both matters were sent to the department's investigations  division for review.
