McGeever was selected from five candidates who submitted applications to the Board.
FRANKFORT, IL — At a special meeting on Monday, the Frankfort Fire District Board of Trustees appointed James McGeever Jr. to a vacant trustee position, Board President Robert Jacobs told Patch.
Jacobs said McGeever was selected from five candidates who were all interviewed last week. 11 people originally filed for the position.
"James has a well-rounded background in the fire service," Jacobs said.
