The Frankfort police said they only release towed cars to their registered owners. Taylor’s brother, Jeremy Taylor, 34, also of 1301 Emington Lane, is the registered owner of the car Joshua Taylor was driving, and he headed over to Frankfort to go get it.
When the officer checked Jeremy Taylor’s information before releasing the vehicle, he discovered the Minooka man was wanted on a warrant charging him with failing to appear in Will County court, police said. Jeremy Taylor was then arrested. He also was released on bond.
