Old Plank Road Trail 5K Run, Walk Goes Virtual

FRANKFORT, IL — The 24th annual Old Plank Road Trail 5K Run/Walk will go virtual this year. The event, held by the village of Frankfort, will run from Oct. 3 to Oct. 10.

According to the village, participants can run or walk 3.1 miles between Oct. 3 and Oct. 10, and you will be able to choose your own course or run the official Old Plank Road Trail course.

When you finish, you can take a selfie and send it to slynchey@frankfortil.org. Each participant who finishes will receive a medal and a race T-shirt.

You can register online for the race until Sept. 30. It is $15 for an adult and $10 for children 10 and under.
