Police said 314 grams of cannabis, a handgun and $6,000 were found inside a Frankfort home.
FRANKFORT, IL — Two men were arrested in Frankfort on Wednesday after the Will County Sheriff's Office received an online tip about possible drug trafficking. The tip was for a residence in the 20100 block of South Kingston Court, and police said surveillance was set up on the home.
Police knew that one of the individuals, Samuel Lambert, 21, of South Holland, had an active warrant. According to police, deputies saw Lambert and another man, Chyanthony Jefferson, 22, of the 20100 block of Kingston, walking down the street on May 1.
According to police, deputies stopped the two since they knew Lambert had a warrant. Lambert was taken into custody and 28.1 grams of suspect cannabis was found in his possession, police said.
