Over 1,000 Still Without Power In Frankfort Area

FRANKFORT, IL — Over 1,000 residents of Frankfort, Frankfort Township and Frankfort Square remain without power over 24 hours after Monday's storms. According to the ComEd outage map, 1,378 Frankfort residents are affected, 75 Frankfort Square residents have no power and 97 Frankfort Township residents still have no electricity.

There are still 25 outages reported across Frankfort. One of the largest outages has been reported near Laraway and Lincolnway roads, although there are also several near Steger Road and 88th Avenue.

ComEd lists most of the outages as a status of "additional crews required." An exact restoration time is not known, although ComEd lists it at 3 p.m. Saturday.
