Park District Announces Halloween Contest Winners

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Park District has shared the winners of both its pumpkin carving contest and its scarecrow building contest.

The park district said the winners of its virtual pumpkin carving contest was the Hoots family. Blake Hoots carved a Mickey Mouse pumpkin, Haley Hoots carved a witch on a broom, and Maddie Hoots carved a scary pumpkin face.

The winner of the park district's ninth annual scarecrow building contest was "Poppy" from Bobbie Noonan's Child Care, the park district said.
