Park Forest Man Charged With Frankfort Speedway Stickup

A Park Forest man was jailed for allegedly sticking up a Frankfort service station.

Frank A. Washington III, 26, was charged with armed robbery and the aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He was taken into custody Saturday.

Washington went into the 22310 S. LaGrange Road Speedway station with a silver pistol about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 16, police said. He allegedly ordered a clerk to empty the cash register before making his getaway.
