Part Of Northbound La Grange Road Closed In Frankfort: Police

FRANKFORT, IL — Northbound La Grange Road at Lincoln Highway is closed to all traffic after a "construction accident" on Thursday, Frankfort Police said.

Crews are working to repair and remove the vehicle and traffic light involved, police said.

Southbound La Grange Road and the intersections north of Route 30 are operational. However, traffic cannot travel north on La Grange at Route 30 at this time, according to police.

"Please use caution in the area and seek alternative routes if possible. Expect delays for an extended period of time," police said.
