Petition Filing Begins At Frankfort Park District For April Election
There will be two Frankfort Park District Commissioner positions up for election in April.
FRANKFORT, IL — In the upcoming consolidated general election in April, there will be two Frankfort Park District Commissioner positions up for election.
The park district has been open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for pick-up of election petition packet and election materials since September, according to the park district website.
Each park district commissioner term is for four years, and only park district residents are eligible.

Candidate petitions or certificates will be accepted Dec. 12 through Dec. 19 at the park district, 140 Oak St. On Dec. 19, offices will be open until 5 p.m. to accept petitions.
The consolidated general election will be held April 4.
