Prowler Absconds With Cash From New Lenox Home

A Kris Drive resident lost money to a house-breaker.

The crook victimized a house in the 1000 block of Kris Drive. The New Lenox police learned of the crime shortly before 9:30 a.m. Friday.

An officer sent to the victimized home spoke with a resident and was told "an unknown person forced entry into his residence and removed cash," police said.

The matter was sent to the department's investigations division for review.
