Registration is Now Open for Matteson Area Library’s 2nd Annual 5K Costume Dash for Literacy

The Matteson Area Public Library is looking for walkers and runners of all ages to participate in its Second Annual 5K Costume Dash for Literacy Race and Children’s One-Mile Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2015. Costumes are optional.
Participants will enjoy a scenic course on the Old Plank Road Trail beginning and ending behind the Target Store at 4647 Promenade Way, Matteson, IL 60443, roughly 1/2 mile south of US Rt. 30 on the east side of Cicero Ave.
Proceeds will benefit our library's plans for programming and patron enhancement.

The mile fun run/walk begins at 10:00 a.m., and will be followed by the 5K run starting at 11:15 a.m.
Location: Target Store located east of Cicero Ave (Rte. 50) at 4647 Promenade Way, Matteson, IL 60443

Registration at the event: Check-in is from 8:30-9:30 am on the South west side of Target
Adults-18+: $15
– Youth-5-17: $7
(Children 4 & under free with registered Adult)
