ABC7 was flooded with requests to feature the school in the their final Friday Flyover of the year, the station’s morning producer told Patch. Dozens of pleas asked for the station to create another positive memory for the students, as they prepare for their school’s closure.

Students have the chance to vote for Lincoln-way North and the other schools featured on ABC 7’s FRIDAY FLYOVER for the top Friday Flyover School,” with the most school spirit. Clips of all the participating Chicago area high schools will be shown beginning Monday, Oct. 26 on ABC 7 Morning News from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. The winner will be presented with a trophy and featured live on Friday, Oct. 30 at 6:50 a.m. on ABC 7 Morning News with Terrell Brown and Judy Hsu.

Voting takes place online, Thursday, Oct. 29 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
