Residents, Pizza Restaurants Raise Awareness About Car Burglaries
When residents order pizza, business partners will put a reminder flyer in their pizza box.
FRANKFORT, IL — In an effort to increase awareness about car burglaries in the area, residents have partnered with area pizza businesses. According to the Will County Sheriff's office, Frankfort Square residents have partnered with pizza restaurants to help remind residents to lock up their cars and report suspicious behavior to the police.
When residents order pizza, business partners will put a reminder flyer in their pizza box. The flyer will include reminders to lock your car doors, turn on outside lights, lock your garage door and remove valuables from your car.
The sheriff's office said the flyers also contain police contact information and a website to sign up for the Neighborhood Watch.
