FRANKFORT, IL — It may not seem like it, but the holiday season will soon be upon us. Communities across the Chicago area have already planned a variety of holiday events, including festivals, tree lightings and more.
In Frankfort, the Village has shared that the annual Lighting of the Green will be held on Nov. 30.
More details will be coming soon, but the event will be held at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort.

In previous years, the tree lighting has also included visits from Santa and other holiday characters, as well as live music and holiday festivities.
