Scarecrow Building Contest Planned By Frankfort Park District

FRANKFORT, IL — Celebrate fall with the Frankfort Park District's scarecrow building contest. Scout groups, homeowners associations, businesses and families can join the contest, and you can pick up the cross sticks for the scarecrow at Founders Community Center, 140 Oak St.

Scarecrows will be due Oct. 7, and will be displayed outside the Founders Community Center.

Voting will then run from Oct. 9 - Oct. 31, and you can vote at the community center office or on the park district's Facebook.
