Screw Driver-Wielding Robbers Take Cigarettes, Cash From Frankfort Gas Station
Two men forced an employee at Lenny's Food and Fuel to the ground before emptying the cash register at 1 a.m.

FRANKFORT, IL -- Two men entered the Lenny's Food and Fuel gas station on Harlem Avenue at 1 a.m. earlier this month and used a screw driver to force their way behind the counter and steal money and Newport cigarettes, according to a report from the Will County Sheriff's Office.
The men were walking around the store at 19420 S. Harlem Ave. on August 3 and were walking around like they were planning on making a purchase. Once the other customers were out of the store, one of the men went behind the counter, displayed a large screw driver and ordered an employee to lay on the ground as he emptied the cash register. The other man also went behind the counter and took Newport cigarettes, according to police.
Both men, only described in the report as black, then left the scene.
