South Suburban Emergency Closings for Monday

With blizzard-like conditions expected to continue through the night, some school districts and public facilities are announcing closures for Monday.

• Lemont Park District: Programs for ages 17 and under that take place prior to 3 p.m., have been cancelled due to the inclement weather. This includes all preschool classes and early childhood classes.. All Rec League Basketball practices have been cancelled for Monday, February 2nd as well. By 1:30 p.m. a decision will be made for classes taking place after 3 p.m.
