The Cancer Support Center presents a Special Book Reading by Author Harold Collins at A Widowers Journey In Faith, Love & Good Humor

Join book author, Harold Collins for a special reading of A Widowers Journey In Faith, Love & Good Humor from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at The Cancer Support Center, 19657 S. LaGrange Rd., Mokena, IL 60448. Anyone impacted by cancer is welcome to join this program. All proceeds from the book sales during this reading will be donated to The Cancer Support Center.

During this special book reading and autograph session, author Harold Collins will share his story of “A Widowers Journey.” His story began as a love letter to his deceased wife, Marilyn. As it evolved, the book also became a thank you for family, friends and his new love who has helped bring his new life from barely bearable to joyful. True to his character, the end product is intended for others who must face their own mortality and that of their loved ones.

“Writing the book was therapeutic for my healing process,” said author of A Widowers Journey In Faith, Love & Good Humor, Harold Collins. “I have made it a personal mission to reach out to widowers and widows to show there is still hope and a life to live after a spouse passes away.”
