Special Use Granted For Motorcycle Sales, Service Business In Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL — At its Monday meeting, the Frankfort Village Board approved a special use permit for a business selling and servicing motorcycles and motorcycle parts.

The business, Nerradical Ridez, is located at 9503 Gulfstream Road, Unit A, in the Airport Industrial Park.

According to Board documents, the business specializes in customizing motorcycles for parades. Business is done by appointment.

The business is mostly "a service business," but some parts and accessories could be ordered online and then installed at the business. There aren't any retail sales of parts, or parts on display for the public.

A public hearing was held in May on the project, and the Plan Commission unanimously recommended the special use request.
