Spring On The Green 2026 Set For March 22
The spring event will feature a live DJ, kid-friendly games, a balloon artist and more.
FRANKFORT, IL — Look forward to all things spring with the annual Spring on the Green event at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort, planned for March 22.
The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m., and is co-sponsored by the Village of Frankfort and the Frankfort Park District.
The spring event will feature a live DJ, kid-friendly games, a balloon artist, as well as a bonfire with complimentary hot cocoa and cookies.

The Frankfort Park District will keep a focus on spring activities, with a kite-flying event planned for April 1.
The annual Family Fun Fly offers a chance for residents to grab their kites and head to Main Park from 11 a.m. to noon, for the statewide kite fly promoting park districts, recreation agencies and the Park District Youth License Plate, according to the park district website. The event is free and open to the public. You can bring your own kite or borrow one from the park district.
