Spring On The Green Planned In Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL — With snow in the forecast, it may not seem like it, but meteorological winter is more than halfway over. Looking to the spring and warmer weather, the Frankfort Park District will hold its second Spring on the Green event.

The free, all ages event will be held at Breidert Green on March 19.

The first Spring on the Green was held last year, and is a similar event to the Winter on the Green events.

The event will include outdoor games, a balloon artist and a DJ. In case it's not too warm outside yet, there will also be a bonfire with hot chocolate and cookies, too.
