INCREASED SAFETY MEASURES

All coaches are HEADS UP certified and have completed the Protecting God’s Children seminar.
All positions and plays are based on safety of the players.
Plays are adjusted based on teams ability and player safety.
Our DFL program DOES NOT include kicksoffs.
Striper rules apply and enforced by entire league
No noseguard positions are included in line up to protect center as well as to assist in successful center – quarterback exchange
Coaches remain on the field during the game
Coaches run all plays to have hands on instruction during game plays
Opposing coaches review lineup before each game to ensure safety
HEADS UP football guidelines are followed by entire league
No Playoffs are included at this level

Players are required to play with honor and maturity. Code of conduct from Coaches, Parents and Players and enforced. Our program represents St. Anthony Catholic Church and will behavior accordingly.

All opening and closing practices and games begin with a team prayer. Mass attendance is encouraged. Instruction and focus of sportsmanship, quality of players participation and family values are enforced.

AGE APPROPRIATE EXPECTATIONS

Only 3 day a week practices. Coaches remain on the field during the game to assist players and further instruction during live play. Our coaches focus on effort over ability to promote positive reinforced. Our program is based on increasing self confidence in our players and encouraging these children to enjoy and value youth football.
