FRANKFORT, IL — The Lincoln-Way Marching Band wrapped up their season earlier this month, giving a performance of its 2022 production "On the Contrary" to an audience of thousands at the Bands of America Grand National Championships in Indianapolis.

Director of Community Relations, Jen Vujosevic, told Patch that the band traveled to the event at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and was among 100 of the best marching bands from across the country.

While the band did not advance into the finals of the competition, Vujosevic said the band delivered an "incredible performance" in the preliminary rounds which earned them a spot in the semifinals round of the top 30 bands.
