Summit Hill hosts Superintendent Advisory meeting

Summit Hill District 161 school community members are cordially invited to participate in a Superintendent Advisory Committee meeting on Nov. 27, 2018 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the District Administrative Center. The topic for the meeting: District 161 and ESSA, the Every Student Succeeds Act. Discussion will include ESSA’s shift in emphasis to student growth and on the whole child and how District 161 is supporting this broadened definition of student success. During the meeting, the District will share a brief presentation and then will spend time listening to the valuable insights of participants. Superintendent Advisory Committee meetings support Board of Education Goals 1&2 - student growth and achievement in a safe, inspiring learning environment.
