Summit Hill School District 161 to Offer Parent Guardian Academy

The November session on Standards-Based Grading will take place Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m.

Summit Hill School District 161 will offer a Parent Guardian Academy, an educational series created to share helpful information with the local learning community, this school year. Topics will range from Standards-Based Grading and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to Keeping Kids Safe Online and Bullying.

Presentations will take place on the second Tuesday of the month from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mary Drew Administration Center, 20100 S. Spruce Dr. in Frankfort. The free sessions are open to anyone interested in attending and will be recorded and posted on the district's website for future reference.

The November session on "Standards-Based Grading" will take place on Tuesday, November 12, at 6 p.m. Attendees can enter through Door 9. Light refreshments will be served. As a bonus, those who attend two of the three fall sessions can turn in their punch cards to receive a special prize!
