Summit Hill schools rated exemplary, commendable by ISBE

The updated Illinois Report Card provided by the Illinois State Board of Education has been released. It shows how well Summit Hill District 161 schools progressed on a wide range of educational goals during the 2017-18 school year. The updated Report Card now includes a designation, a descriptor of how well the school is meeting the needs of all students based on measures of performance which include student growth, state assessment proficiency, English Learner data, absenteeism, and climate survey data. Summative designations include: Exemplary, Commendable, Underperforming and Lowest Performing.

Our results:

• Frankfort Square Elementary School: Exemplary (Top 10% of all schools!)

• Arbury Hills Elementary School: Commendable

• Dr. Julian Rogus Elementary School: Commendable

• Indian Trail Elementary School: Commendable

• Walker Intermediate School: Commendable

• Summit Hill Junior High School: Commendable
