Thank you Frankfort!

Former Trustee Candidate Samuel A. Giordano is very thankful to his family, friends, and supporters.

Thank you to the almost 2,000 voters in the Village of Frankfort who voted for me for Trustee on April 4th. Although I lost the election by less than 1%, I feel that I was still a winner! I am humbled by your trust that was exhibited in your vote of confidence in me. My goal was truly to be your voice and that is why I pledged to be the first Trustee to have regular office hours at the Village Hall.

A very special thank you to my family who supported me thru the entire election process that started over 8-months ago as well as my many friends who helped me along the way. Without all of them I would not have been as successful. You are all loved very much!

Although I did not win a spot on the Frankfort Village Board, you will still continue to see me out and about in Frankfort as I am an active member of many civic organizations. Frankfort has been my hometown for 43 of my 60 years on this earth and I hold our community in the highest regard. Please help me to continue to support our Frankfort VFW, Kiwanis Club, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce and Lincoln-Way Toastmasters Club. They are all great organizations that help our community and beyond!

I urge all of our residents to stay informed and stay involved in what is going on in our Village of Frankfort. Attend the board meetings and question things you have concerns about instead of staying idle on important issues. The Mayor and Village Trustees are facing many critical matters that will soon be public; These items include raising our water and sewer rates, a decrease in police protection in our neighborhoods, decrease in local sales tax, loss of revenue from the State of Illinois, and an array of other items. Stay Informed!

Once again I am so very thankful to all of you who supported and voted for me and I look forward to seeing you "around town" this summer!
