Thousands of ComEd customers in Frankfort are without power Wednesday afternoon.
Crews are investigating the cause, and estimate power will be restored by 5:30 p.m., according to a ComEd outage map.
Business owners in downtown Frankfort and those in the area of LaGrange Road and U.S. 30 have reported power loss. Other areas affected by the outage include Laraway Road near 80th Avenue, and the area around Windy Hill Drive.
