Two Frankfort Firefighters Sworn In

FRANKFORT, IL — At the Frankfort Fire Protection District Board of Trustee meeting on Tuesday, two probationary firefighters were sworn in as firefighters, the district shared on its Facebook.

Joe Baron and Hayden Peters recently completed their one-year probationary period, the District said.

During probation, the probationary firefighter goes through extensive training and scrutiny. They learn about the fire district and its operations, according to the district.

"Both Joe and Hayden performed exceptionally during their probationary period, and are now full-fledged firefighter/paramedics," the District said on Facebook.
