Youth Programs:
ALL BY MYSELF
This class is designed to help children practice separation from their parent/caregivers while engaging them in one of their first classroom experiences. Socializing, learning to share, playing games and listening to stories will be the focus of this class. The instructor will guide these children through fun activities that will help develop their independence. A great jump start on preschool preparation. If a child has trouble with separation, the parent may stay with the child to wean them into the program.

Students will explore the elements of art such as shading, balance, line, volume, depth and color while completing one new drawing each week. Each session offers all new lessons. Parents will receive a curriculum summary each week, so that they are aware of the skills their children are mastering. BELLY BABES
This is a class where you’ll learn basic belly dancing moves. We will NOT get all Shakira with it in the beginning, but we’ll definitely be dancing to her music and some fun Bollywood tunes, and I’ll throw in anything else that has a wicked hip-twisting beat. We’ll laugh and sweat together while we search for those ever-elusive abdominals. I want you to feel the music, try a few moves in a “jingle scarf” (bring your own, or I have some you can borrow or buy) and have a great time. Wear comfy clothes that’ll let you wiggle and sweat, and don’t forget a water bottle.
