Video From Frankfort Car Burglary Released

FRANKFORT, IL -- Police have released video footage from one of the car burglaries reported earlier this week in the Lakeview Estates subdivision in Frankfort.

Two cars were reported stolen and three others were entered and had items stolen early Monday morning in the subdivision near 80th Avenue and Laraway Road.

Frankfort Deputy Police Chief Kevin Keegan said police also recovered a vehicle previously reported stolen from Tinley Park while investigating the vehicle theft reports.

"They are using the stolen vehicles, going to other cars and pulling on the door handles," Keegan said while sharing the below video taken from a resident's home surveillance system.
