Village Of Frankfort Announces 2020 Committee Members

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland and the Village Trustees announced the Village committee appointments for 2020-2021 which will be effective May 1.

According to the press release by the Village, each application was reviewed by the Village Board before Holland selected the appointees with the advice and consent of the trustees from committees including Community Services, Economic Development, Financial Affairs, Fire and Police Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Land Use and Policy, Operations, Plan Commission, Police Pension Board, Student Government Day, Traffic Advisory and Tree Board.

"It is very satisfying to know there is a strong level of interest in our Village committees. Citizen input is welcomed by our board and staff. The willingness of our residents to devote their time and energy to the community certainly is appreciated by me and the entire Village Board," Holland said.

"On behalf of the citizens of our community, I thank the volunteers who served on our committees last year. Their involvement and input are appreciated."
