Lincoln-Way East Jazz Concert

Village Board meeting

What: 7 p.m.
Where: Frankfort Police Station, lower level, 20602 Lincoln Way Lane 

Items on the Village Board agenda include voting to change the speed limit on Wolf Road and approving the 2011 village meeting and holiday calendar. Check out the village's website for more info.

Senior car check

When: 11:30 a.m.-2:52 p.m.
Where: , 19900 S. Harlem Ave.

Local high school students and police departments will offer free winter car care check-ups for senior citizens. Of course, the weather has been so nice lately that winter might just have been canceled this year. Go for more information.

Larry Boyle, 'Space: The Year in Review'

When: 7 p.m.

The former president of the Chicago Society for Space Studies from 1989 to 2004, Boyle will talk about the U.S. space program and where it is at today. Go for more information.

Historic District Holiday Open House

When: 5-9 p.m.
Where: Downtown Frankfort 

Various downtown stores and merchants will be keeping their doors open a little later for shoppers to get in some holiday shopping before next week's dreaded Black Friday. Go  for more information.

'The Rainbow Fish'

What: 7 p.m.
