Where's Your God Now? Wanted Orland Park Man Arrested on His Way Out of Church Service

The police got a tip that the wanted man was attending Parkview Christian Church.

A wanted Orland Park man’s prayers apparently fell on deaf ears as the cops grabbed him on the way out of an evening church service, police said.

The law got a tip that 34-year-old Christopher Scott was at Parkview Christian Church and that he had a warrant out for his arrest, police said. Officers confirmed Scott was wanted by the Frankfort cops on a charge of fleeing or eluding and then headed over to the church.

“The church service was exiting the west doors at the time (an officer) arrived and (he) was not able to locate” the person who snitched on Scott, police said. A dispatcher told the officer the informant was still there, was on the phone and was saying that Scott was getting ready to leave.

The officer “soon noticed Christopher exiting the doors,” police said. “He walked out alone and (the officer) approached him and called him by name. He confirmed he was Christopher Scott and he immediately told (the officer) that he knew about his warrant.”

Scott asked how much bond money he needed and told the officer “he would not cause any issues,” police said.
