Wine Around Downtown Frankfort Sept. 28
The Frankfort Historic Business Association will host its third wine and ale tasting event in downtown Frankfort Sept. 28.

The Frankfort Historic Business Association will hold its third annual Wined-ing through Historic Downtown Frankfort wine and ale tasting event on Sunday, September 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. New for 2014 are event partners WineStyles of Frankfort, 350 Brewing and Hailstorm Brewing both of Tinley Park, extended walk hours and live music on Breidert Green.
Guests will enjoy wine and ale samples, along with tastes from local restaurants, during the walk. Live music will be offered throughout the downtown, including the Ben Clark Jazz Quintet on the Breidert Green stage from 4 to 8 p.m. Other locations/artists include: an Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra string trio at Pickwick Tearoom from 4-7 p.m., a German brass trio at check in and then at the Frankfort Area Historical Society from 5:30-8:00 and Nate Jackson, guitar, on the patio at This & That Gifts, 5-8 p.m.
Checkin begins at 4 p.m. at The Paper Spot, 105 Ash Street. All guests will be carded and given a wristband, so please bring your ticket and ID. Note: this year there will be no early bird check in as the walk hours have been extended. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at check in if still available. Tickets may be purchased online at shophistoricfrankfort.com or at select stores including: This & That Gifts, My Sister’s & Me, La Vie Vintage, Build-a-Bun, Briosa Boutique, Chew on This Dog Barkery, Lil’ Surprises, The Nail Shop, Glory Bee and The Family Hearth General Store. The walk goes rain or shine, no refunds.
