Woman Robbed While Pumping Gas At Speedway In Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL -- A woman was robbed of her wallet while pumping gas at a station in Frankfort Township earlier this month, according to an item in the latest Will County Police Blotter. Sheriff's police responded to the call at the Speedway at 7218 W. Lincoln Highway on Oct. 2.

While the woman was pumping gas, she observed a man next to her car on on the opposite side, police said. She then saw him enter another car and leave.

When the woman was finished pumping gas and returned to her car, she realized her wallet was stolen.

Police had no description of the suspect other than that he was a black man.
