JUNIOR FUNGINEERING

Young children love to build with Legos™ and building is a great way to enter the world of engineering! Using Lego® educational sets, we will explore simple machines by building fun moveable models while learning the basic concepts of physical science & engineering in a fun and creative way.  With the help of COMPUTER EXPLORERS, students will learn about gears, wheels, levers, pulleys, and much more! 2 students per Lego set.

SIMPLE MACHINES BUILD-A-THON FOR JR. ENGINEERS

Attention Lego® builders!  Future engineers will choose and build various projects and learn about simple machines by using Lego® Educational kits!  COMPUTER EXPLORERS will discuss concepts of pulleys, levers, wheels, and gears while students will bring their projects to life using battery operated motors. If you enjoy building with Legos and would like to learn about how things work, this class is for you!  2 children per LEGO® kit.

MISS ANGIE’S MUSIC – CYCLE OF SEASONS         NEW!

Celebrate your child’s love of nature & growing independence through activities focusing on the seasons of the year. The classes are designed to build attention & self-expression and include singing, chanting, moving, focused listening, musical games, exploring musical instruments, creative movement, and storytelling. The class is designed for a child and adult to participate together. Instrument pack included. You will receive $10 off if you sign up for both sessions.

MUSIC IN THE BOX – FAMILY MUSIC MASTERS

This class incorporates ear training, pitch development, and early music concepts through singing and movement. Children are taught by a professional musician who is trained in the Music in the Box curriculum.  These classes encompass the Montessori learning style with music, books, bubbles, games and Suzuki violin and piano melodies which gives a child a head start in preparation for later private lessons. This program provides a weekly music experience for parent and child in a loving environment.
