1 More Foster Home Needed for Sunday 8/21!
No one can do everything, but everyone can do something!
The Difference Between Being Abandoned in a Shelter and Being Rescued this Sunday (8/21) is A Foster Home!
Safe Haven Dog Rescue would like to bring sweet MJ to Illinois on 8/21…But we need a foster home first!
MJ is about 2 years old and is believed to be a Jack Russell Terrier mix. She is sweet as can be and walks beautifully on a leash
She is also available for our
Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to be the family that greets her when she arrives in Illinois. Foster to Adopt families have the first option
to adopt if you determine this is the pup right for you!

While you foster, we pay all expenses from
vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family
provides love (something she needs and deserves!) and a safe cool place for her to rest and feel safe until they find she finds her forever home. We also require that you have the
ability to take her to routine veterinary visits at our participating
vets. These vets are located in Geneva,Wheaton, Naperville, and Elmhurst and have fairly flexible hours.
Fostering is the most life giving thing you can do for a dog! It is a very rewarding experience that will make a huge impact on, and actually save, their life. By becoming a foster you are saving 2 lives - the animal you bring into your home while he or she waits to be adopted, and the animal who gets to take your foster’s place in the shelter.
