( Geneva, IL ) 15 Charming Cottages host "Cottages in the Woods" 10th annual Artists & Vendors Sale. A friendly gnome invites you to tour cottages brimming with Scandinavian arts and crafts, Swedish food, folklore and fun!
Over 25 artists and vendors will be sharing the sights, sounds, and tastes of a Scandinavian Christmas Sat/Sun November 10th and 11th from 10am til 4pm at Good Templar Park, 528 Eastside Drive. Geneva, IL. Rosemaling, Dalamaling, Swedish Water Color, Candles, Pottery, Knitted Items , Wood Working, Vintage, Water Color Prints, Classic Children's Books, Natural Cosmetics, Jewelry, Prayer Beads, Wreaths and Garlands are some of the venues that will be demonstrated and sold. Swedish Yellow Pea Soup, Swedish Bakery, Coffee Creations and a Confectionary will entice customers while Saint Lucia shares her Swedish legend and Tomte ( Swedish Santa ) delights young and old. Wandering Oaken's Trading Post with costumed princesses Elsa and Anna delight attendees. A unique popular holiday adventure that's fun for families, friends and arts and crafts lovers. $8 a person. Kids 12 and under Free. Viking Ship Tour $5 additional fee.
