2 Geneva Highways To Undergo Crack Sealing This Summer
The Kane County Division of Transportation included two Geneva highways on its annual routing and crack-sealing program.
GENEVA, IL — Two Geneva highways will be resealed as part of the Kane County Division of Transportation's annual routing and crack seal program.
The program began this week on four highways, including the extended intersection of Kirk Road and Fabyan Parkway in Geneva.
The crack seal program is part of the county's ongoing roadway maintenance efforts to help extend pavement life by sealing roadway cracks. The treatment helps prevent water from penetrating the pavement structure and protects roadways from freeze-thaw damage during the winter months.

The entire program is expected to be completed between six and eight weeks, weather permitting.
