2-Year Agreement Likely For French Market

The city council needs to make the final decision on a two-year license agreement. Typically, the market gets a one-year agreement.

GENEVA, IL —A two-year license agreement for the Geneva French Market will likely be approved by the city council. Benisdoun USA Inc., the owner of the French Markets, typically receives a one-year license agreement to run its open-air European-style market in town but aldermen recently recommended approval of a new agreement for 2020 and 2021, according to the Kane County Chronicle.

The French Market is open every Sunday from mid-April through mid-November in the Metra parking lot at South and Fourth streets in Geneva.
