23 Resurfacing, Drainage Projects Underway In Geneva
Work on 11 different streets throughout Geneva was scheduled to begin Tuesday.

GENEVA, IL — Twenty-three road resurfacing and drainage projects are underway in Geneva this fall.
The construction, part of the 2023 street improvement program, began in August and is expected to be completed in October, officials said.
Pavement saw-cutting is underway on 11 streets throughout the city. Construction crews were scheduled to begin removing concrete Tuesday before replacing it.

The streets that are being worked on include:
- North Third Street
- North Fifth Street
- Crawford Street
- Eighth Street
- Mead Court
- Regency Court
- Stratford Drive
- Cape Way
- Deerfield Way
- Essex Court
- Lark Street
Residents on the impacted streets were asked to remove plantings from behind the curb and next to sidewalks marked with white paint. Some will temporarily lose driveway access because of the construction, officials said, but advanced notice was sent.

Cars can remain parked on the street as long as the location is not marked with white paint.
