25N Coworking Names Five Winners in the Inaugural "What's Your Story?" Awards

Geneva, Ill. – November 18, 2015 – In September, 25N Coworking in Geneva announced the “What’s Your Story?” Awards program. Last week, the five category winners were named during a celebratory event held in honor of all finalists at the coworking space.

The five winners are: Madeline Bozik, Maddie’s Mitten March, non-profit category; Sharan Tash, Tash Fitness LLC, solo; Chris Schlemmer, Chicagoland Aviation, small business; Stacey Bales, Bales Metal Surface Solutions, medium business; and Keith Bockwoldt, Township High School District #214, large business.

The “What’s Your Story?” Awards program celebrates the stories of challenges, survival, and how people make a difference in their workplace. A panel of seven judges evaluated submissions in the categories of solopreneurs and freelancers, small businesses, medium businesses, large businesses and nonprofit organizations. Of the nearly 70 entrants, 25 were named finalists based on the strength of their story.

Mara Hauser, community founder and chief executive officer for 25N Coworking, was enthralled with the quality of all the submissions.

“Congratulations to all of the nominees,” she remarked. “It was so difficult for our judges to not only choose 25 finalists, but then to choose only one winner in each category.

“During a meet and greet for the finalists, their stories were shared,” she continued. “It was so moving, and at times, emotional, to hear about how they overcame obstacles, led great teams or what they’re doing to make a difference. Everyone left inspired.”
